Turn testing days into facility revenue.

Zero CAPEX · You keep 30% · Up to 8 tests/day

We roll in with VO₂max, lactate, NIRS, RMR, and full-stack profiling. You provide ~40 ft² of floor space. We do the rest, testing, reports, billing, payouts. New high-value service for your members. Recurring revenue with no equipment to buy.

USAT-certified · Liability insured · ISO-calibrated devices · Next-day ACH payout

How it works

Four steps from first call to first paid testing day. We’ve done the operational work so your team doesn’t have to.

01

Pick a testing day

Weekly, monthly, or quarterly cadence. We help you pick a day that maximises slot fill and creates urgency among your members. Most partners run one day per month.

02

We set up before your first member arrives

We arrive about 30 minutes ahead, calibrate the equipment on-site, and are ready when the first athlete steps up. No cabling, no special venting, no infrastructure changes to your space.

03

We promote

We promote the day to your clientele and bring outside athletes to get tested at your facility. Marketing runs both online and in your space: templates, posters, and QR flyers are all in the kit we hand you.

04

We test, you get paid

We run the assessments and produce the reports. For every booking made through Yousuli, your facility keeps a 30% flat share, paid the next business day via ACH.

What each side brings

The whole point: you provide ~40 ft² and a member base. Yousuli brings everything else.

Yousuli brings

Lab-grade kit + a USAT-certified coach

  • VO₂Master Pro portable metabolic cart
  • Multi-site NIRS (Moxy) for SmO₂ on key muscle groups
  • Lactate analyzers and CORE temperature sensors
  • Ventilated hood for RMR with calibration gases & disposables
  • Same-day session summaries plus 72-hour PDF consult reports
  • Frederic Simon, USAT Level II, Ironman-certified coach, liability insured
  • Marketing kit (posters, flyers, QR codes, social templates, email copy)
You provide

Space, access, and a contact

  • ~40 ft² of open floor space (no special outlet required)
  • Access to a treadmill, indoor bike, or your studio floor
  • One staff contact to receive the promo kit and coordinate the day
  • Wi-Fi (optional, for instant report uploads)
  • Your member list to promote to (optional, we bring our own audience too)

No equipment to buy. No protocols to learn. No staff time to commit beyond a single point of contact.

Three ways partners win

The 30% share is the floor, not the whole story.

01 · Revenue

The direct share

30% of every booking, paid the next business day. A full day at capacity puts about $900 in your account; a typical first day lands in the $300 to $500 range and grows as the cadence sticks. Real money, but the smallest of the three wins.

02 · Retention

Members who test, stay

“The gym with the VO₂max lab day” is a differentiator the facility down the street can’t copy overnight. Members who test set goals against their own numbers, and goal-driven members renew. You add a high-end service without adding payroll.

03 · Your floor

Sharper trainers, more foot traffic

Your coaches get objective baselines to program against, and the follow-up conversations convert into PT and program sales you keep 100% of. And every outside athlete we route to your day walks through your front door: a tour, a day pass, a membership lead.

3-min “DARK” Test (CP / W′) ~30 min $150
PRO Full-Stack Profiling ~75 min $500

Throughput cap: up to 8 tests / day per device. Most partners run one day per month or quarter to give time to promote and create urgency.

Science that sells

The numbers your members already trust, and the credibility that justifies the price tag.

Per +1 MET in VO₂max
−13%

All-cause mortality risk reduction. VO₂max is one of the strongest independent predictors of longevity, period.

RMR vs. doubly-labelled water
±3%

Indirect calorimetry is validated within ±3% of the gold standard. Hospital-grade accuracy in a 25-minute hood test.

LEA prevalence
~47%

Of competitive athletes show low energy availability at some point in their season. RMR catches it before injuries do.

Founding partner terms

An honest note on where the program stands.

Signing the first Greater LA facilities now

Early is the good end of this deal

The partner program is new. The consumer Performance Lab already runs weekly on the same devices and protocols; the hosted testing days are the new layer, and the first facilities are being signed now, one per area for monthly cadence. Founding partners get first pick of dates, a real say in how the program evolves, and, once we’ve run a few days together, this spot on the page: the case study future partners will read.

“In three months I raised my VO₂max from 43 to 48 and knocked 90 seconds off my 10 k. The numbers showed exactly where to push, not just ‘run more.’”

Is this the right fit?

Honest read so we don’t waste each other’s time.

Perfect fit

  • Gyms & studios with performance or longevity-minded members
  • Endurance clubs, triathlon groups, run/strength studios
  • Physical therapy & physio practices wanting baseline data
  • Bike shops with a fit / performance angle
  • Universities with athletic programs
  • Facilities wanting high-value services without buying gear

Probably not a fit

  • No room to host ~40 ft² for one day
  • No interest in scientific testing or follow-up coaching
  • Expecting more than 8 tests/day from a single cart
  • Looking for a one-time stunt rather than recurring days

FAQ

Questions hosts ask before booking the first day.

How much staff time do we need to give you?

Close to zero. We handle testing, reports, billing, and payouts. Your role is one staff contact for coordination and your member list (if you want to promote internally).

Do you need power or special ventilation?

No special outlet, no special venting. Standard 120 V if available, but the metabolic cart is fully portable. ~40 ft² of open floor with normal indoor airflow is enough.

How fast do we get paid?

Next business day via ACH for any booking that came through Yousuli. If you prefer to handle billing yourself (useful for upselling testing into your existing programs), we can structure that too.

Can we white-label the reports?

Yes, co-branded PDFs are available for partners running recurring days. Your logo lockup alongside Yousuli’s on every report.

Can we set a different revenue split?

The 30% flat share is the default and what most partners run on. Higher splits are possible when you handle billing, drive 100% of the bookings, or commit to multi-day cadence. Talk to us.

What happens if we can’t fill all 8 slots?

We bring outside athletes. Yousuli has a member list and event presence (Wildflower, UCSD Tritonman, Stanford Treeathlon, etc.) we can route to your day. Empty slots are usually a planning issue, not a demand issue.

Who owns the data?

The athlete owns their data. We provide them the report. Aggregated, anonymized data may be used for Yousuli research and content with consent. Your facility doesn’t own member testing data unless we set up a separate data-sharing agreement.

Are there contraindications?

Standard exclusions for maximal exercise testing apply (uncontrolled cardiovascular conditions, recent acute illness, etc.). We screen pre-test and follow USAT and ACSM safety protocols. Insurance covers all sessions.

What if I want to handle billing or upsell?

Plenty of partners use testing as a lead-in for coaching, programs, or memberships. We can hand you the booking flow, you handle payment and upsell. Revenue split adjusts when you run billing.

Do I have to sell assessments to my clients?

Not at all. Many partners simply host the day and let Yousuli promote to its own audience. Your members benefit by having on-site access. Anything beyond “here’s a flyer” is optional.

How many partners are you taking on?

We’re geographic-density-limited. One partner per zip code area for monthly cadence, or two for quarterly. Greater LA is the current focus, with plans to expand SoCal.

What’s the main benefit to Yousuli of bringing outside clients to your facility?

Testing days work best with full calendars. Your members make the day reliable; outside clients bring volume. Your facility wins reputation and revenue; we win throughput. It’s genuinely a both-ways exchange.

Do you offer free demos?

Yes, we can run a single complimentary VO₂max for you and one staff member during the first scheduled testing day. Useful for talking to clients afterward from direct experience.

Clinics or workshops?

Available. We can pair a testing day with a 60–90 min education clinic on zones, fueling, or recovery for your members. Run as part of the day, separately, or virtually.

Are there discounts for veterans or disabled athletes?

Yes. Yousuli’s Supported Athletes program covers reduced-rate testing and coaching for committed para-athletes and elite athletes facing higher participation costs. Email us for current criteria.

Can we take pictures and use them for promotion?

Yes, we encourage it, with athlete consent. Photos of the testing day, your space, and our equipment can run on your site, social, or printed materials. We can also share photos taken during the day.

Can you provide a certificate of insurance?

Yes. Before the first testing day you’ll receive a COI naming your facility as additional insured. If your ops team has specific coverage minimums, send them over and we’ll confirm before anything goes on the calendar.

Is there a contract?

A short agreement in plain English: the revenue share, the schedule, insurance and liability, and how either side ends it. No exclusivity required on your side, and future dates can be cancelled with two weeks’ notice.

I’m a trainer here, not the owner. Can I still make this happen?

Often you’re the best person to. Bring the one-page summary to your owner or GM, and if it helps I’ll join a ten-minute call with them. Trainers who champion a testing day usually end up using the results to build their own programming clientele, and that part is 100% yours.

Start with a pilot day.

One testing day on the calendar, no cadence commitment. It includes a complimentary VO₂max for you and one staff member, so you can talk to your clients about it from direct experience. If the day works, we pick a rhythm. If it doesn’t, we shake hands.
