The Yousuli mission

Doing epic sh*t.

A community of 1,000 · committed to big things · together

Build a community of a thousand people committed to doing epic things, and be a useful part of the journey. We believe the undertaking of big things makes life bigger, not busier. So we chase the epic the sustainable way: the most you can hold, done well, beats the most you can cram in. Every journey is different. Every path is the right one if you start.

The 1,000

Why a number? Because building a real community is finite work. We’re not trying to be everywhere. We’re trying to know who’s in the room.

The goal
1,000

People genuinely committed to doing something hard, their version of epic. Triathletes, runners, swimmers, cyclists, para-athletes, beginners.

The bet
Bigger lives

The undertaking of big things makes everything else better, sleep, focus, relationships, sense of self. The race is the side effect.

The shape
Many paths

Every journey is different, every path is its own. None is greater than the one you start. We’re here to be useful along the way.

How we operate

Six principles. They show up in every service, every plan, every conversation.

01

Test. Don’t guess.

Wearables and formulas estimate. Lab-grade testing measures. Decisions about training, fueling, and equipment should sit on real data, not vibes or someone else’s chart.

02

Efficiency is the shortest path to speed.

Stop wasting effort first. Stop leaving free speed on the table. Add training load only after the leaks are fixed, technique, drag, economy, fueling.

03

Community over ego.

Beginners and high-level athletes share the same environment. Different plans, equal respect. The fast-or-out culture isn’t welcome here.

04

Accessible. Not elite-only.

Endurance sport gets expensive fast. We reserve supported coaching spots for elite and para-athletes who couldn’t otherwise carry the cost, and run partner days that bring real testing to facilities at their members’ price points.

05

Slow is a method, not a setback.

Twelve-week blocks, retests, real adaptation, and a pace you can keep when life gets loud. The 101-day half-Ironman streak wasn’t a stunt, it was proof: big things are won by showing up across months and years, not by burning out in days.

06

Science translated to action.

The point isn’t to collect data. It’s to turn it into clearer decisions on training, technique, pacing, and setup, with cues simple enough that you can use them when the coach isn’t there.

What that looks like in practice

The principles are real or they’re marketing. Here’s where they show up.

Test, don’t guess · Science to action

Performance Lab

VO₂max with real gas exchange. RMR for fueling and RED-S screening. CdA testing that saves real watts. Every test ends in a one-page summary you can act on, not a 40-page report you won’t read.

Partner facilities

Real testing days at gyms, studios, swim schools, universities. We bring the lab. Your facility keeps a 30% flat share. Fewer barriers between athletes and lab-grade data.

The standard

What we expect of athletes, and what athletes can expect of us.

If you work with us

What we ask of you

  • Show up consistently. Plans only work when athletes execute.
  • Provide data honestly, sleep, fueling, life stress, the workout that fell apart.
  • Ask. The questions are part of the work, not a sign you’re behind.
  • Commit to the medium term. Twelve weeks minimum to see real change.
  • Bring your own version of “epic”. We don’t pick it for you.
If we work with you

What you get from us

  • Real attention. Limited coaching roster on purpose.
  • Plans built around your life, not a generic template.
  • Testing that ends in actionable decisions, not data theatre.
  • Clear feedback when something isn’t working, including from us.
  • A community that won’t make you feel small for being new.

Pick your version of epic.

Maybe it’s your first 5 km. Maybe it’s a Kona slot. Maybe it’s swimming continuously for the first time at age 60. The community is built around all of these, not just the loud ones.
