- Precision over estimates. Real RMR replaces formula-based guesses

Sprint, recover, repeat, that’s the coin of the realm in HYROX, CrossFit, criteriums, and short-course triathlon. The PRP measures how hard you can surge and how fast you bounce back, so you pace attacks and intervals on data, not feel.
Why it matters
- Surge power wins races. A 5% gap in recovery speed can mean 1st vs. 5th when the final interval hits
- Limiter detection. VO₂ + lactate + SmO₂ trends show whether the bottleneck is aerobic refill, buffering capacity, or local muscle perfusion
- Targeted training. Knowing the culprit lets you choose tempo float intervals, glycolytic sprints, or active-recovery tweaks, instead of generic threshold work
