Power to finish.

130+ courses · route map · elevation profile · per-segment splits

Pick your race, Kona, Lanzarote, Roth, every IM 70.3 around the world, and the calculator simulates your ride against the actual course profile. Enter a power strategy, a flat power, or a target time. Get finish time, segment-by-segment splits, technical climb / descent flags, and a live map + elevation chart.

Coach note

Use this for race-week planning, not training prescription.

The simulator is good at one thing: turning your power numbers into a realistic split for a specific course. Three real uses:

  • Pacing strategy, compare a flat-power ride against a variable strategy on hilly courses. Variable usually wins, but by how much depends on the course profile.
  • Goal-setting, if you target a 5:30 70.3 bike split, the simulator backs out the average power required. Check it against your critical power to see if it’s realistic.
  • Equipment trade-offs, same course, different CdA / Crr / weight values, see the time delta. Hill-heavy courses (Lanzarote, Wildflower) reward weight savings; flat ones (Cozumel, Roth) reward aero.

What it doesn’t know: wind on race day, your hydration, your gut, your pacing discipline, technical skill on descents. The number is a ceiling under perfect execution; subtract 3–5% for race-day reality.

Want a race plan built around your physiology?

Coaching takes the simulator output and turns it into your race-day pacing brief: power targets by zone, fueling rate, equipment recommendations, and contingency plans for the conditions. The number is the input; the plan is the output.
